Jones Sports, a division of Jones Sign Company, partnered with the Green Bay Packers to replace the oversized, iconic “G” logo installed in 2012 and displayed on the exterior of the south endzone scoreboard of Lambeau Field. Jones took on this project to further the design with construction drawings, engineering, fabrication, and installation. The sign is internally illuminated with thousands of LEDs and has been labeled a “beacon” to all coming to Lambeau Field.
Jones Sign was tasked with installing a large illumined “G” to the exterior of the south endzone scoreboard at Lambeau Field.
This sign was fabricated, and delivered in 3 separate pieces, and then carefully installed 1 piece at a time at Lambeau field.
The new “G” logo is iconic, seen by many approaching Lambeau Field from the South on all roads which includes the two main highways (Hwy 172 and Interstate 41) enroute to Green Bay as fans make their way to the Historic LAMBEAU FIELD!
