The Challenge

Salesforce Tower presented several logistical challenges. The project was affected by restrictions put in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Signage supports had to penetrate a glass curtain wall and installation required Jones to work in an active tenant space. The 10,000 programmable LEDs in the signs had to be integrated into the building's electronic management system.

02

The Solution

Jones Sign leveraged our well-established supply chain and essential business status to navigate the pandemic restrictions and keep this project on track. Our project management team coordinated glazing replacement of the glass with sealed voids for anchor pass-throughs. Jones worked with site management to install the anchors over a 3-day Canadian holiday weekend to avoid interrupting the tenants during working hours.

The Result

Salesforce Tower's new logo signage is illuminated with over 10,000 bright white LEDs. The entire Jones Sign team worked together to problem-solve the installation process amid the then unfamiliar pandemic situation to meet customer needs and deadlines safely.
