01/15/2009 - Jones Sign recently completed a project for the Village of Merrick Park, a tony, mixed-use development in Coral Gables, FL. Opened in 2002, the center spans more than 1 million sq. ft. and features such premium retailers as Neiman-Marcus and Nordstrom, with such high-end, complementary boutiques as Juicy Couture and Gucci. Signs of the Times: Jones' Green Initiative
September 2008 - Jones Sign (De Pere, WI) lists all recycled products on its customer presentation drawings. Jones' "green" channel-letter detail shows the letters' trim cap as CAB, and the returns and backs as 100% recycled aluminum. It cuts paint use by offering eight, powdercoated aluminum color choices. Jones also specifies low-energy,LED lamps on its drawing. All metals are recycled and recyclable, so much so that you can freely declare your sign's metal - steel, aluminum - content is recycled. February 2006 - A full-page picture of a sign at the Rolling Hills Casino, Corning, California (NW of Sacramento). Jones refurbished the existing sign by removing outdated graphics, strengthening the footings and steel structure and adding a gigantic 14'x32' full-color LED message board. The sign communicates the varied offerings of the combination casino/truck stop/hotel to motorists on Interstate 5.
