We are looking for qualified individuals to fill these positions:
CAD Drafter/Design Engineer
Turns sold graphic designs into detailed shop drawings for fabricators to use to build signs. Fabrication details are obtained from consulting with experienced fabricators and our library of previous shop drawings. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in sign/exhibit/display or related engineering/design experience and have proven success in taking concept designs forward into technical specifications. Candidates must also have the ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks, independently or within a team. Must possess a sound knowledge of a broad range of materials and manufacturing technologies within the sign industry (BOMs, take-offs, cut sheets, metal and plastic fabrication, sheet metal, fasteners, adhesives, nesting, jigs, fixtures, and other industry hardware). High competency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite are a must, knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, and CorelDraw are a plus.
National Service Specialist
National Service Specialist services our national accounts. Coordinates with customers, subcontractors and production staff. Applicants must be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to solve problems. Other duties include inside sales and assisting the estimating department.
Sign Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager
Sign Project Managers handle national accounts and major projects from the time they are sold until the project is completed. They get permits and variances. They shepherd the job through design, fabrication and installation. They hire installers if we don't install the signs with our own crews, and coordinate timelines with other trades such as electricians, masons and roofers. PMs constantly communicate with customers and general contractors to make our work dovetail with the overall project. This job requires a very organized individual with very strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to negotiate and the ability to think. Results are rewarded. 100% customer retention is the goal. Project Manager background is required. Some travel for variances and job site visits is required. Billboard Ad Sales
This person finds advertisers who would benefit from placing ads on our billboards. We have billboards from Marinette to Fond du Lac and from the Lakeshore to Wausau. Some travel is necessary to get familiar with the billboards and to meet with customers. This position is supported by a very good design department, a contracts person and installers. The best applicant should have experience selling billboard space, radio, television or other intangibles. The ability to present, stay organized, be energetic and close the deal are all important. Draws against commissions.
