Charlotte Arena

Charlotte, NC - The Charlotte Arena is the new home of the NBA Bobcats, WNBA Sting as well as the NHL Charlotte Checkers. Jones Sign manufactured and installed all the interior and exterior signs, from the main identification 6’ lit letters right down to the names on the lockers and everything in between, including lit sponsorship signs, banners, aisle markers, outdoor directional signage, indoor wayfinding signs, concession stands and kiosks. Some of the unique features were the concession stands and ad kiosks of curved aluminum. This was super high end architectural interior signage. The job had an unbelievable time line – shop drawings approved in July, completion by September 15 – that taxed all our resources. The deadline was met. General Contractor was Hunt Construction of Dallas, signs were designed by Workshop Design of Kansas City, and the owner was the City of Charlotte, NC.
